Town in Norwegian valley is set to get winter sunlight for the first time in its history… using giant MIRRORS

A gloomy Norwegian town will receive its first ever rays of winter sunshine this year after locals set up giant mirrors to bounce light down from the mountainside.

The industrial town of Rjukan is nestled deep in a valley floor in the rugged Telemark county and with the sun moving low across the sky during winter, it gets no direct sunlight between the months of September and March.

For years the sun-starved locals have had to take a purpose-built cable car to the top of the mountain side in order to catch a few winter rays.
The plant's founder, celebrated Norwegian engineer and industrialist Sam Eyde was concerned his workers weren't getting enough sunshine during the winter months.

He considered the mirror idea but felt they lacked the technology to make it work so opted instead for the construction of a cable car.

Rjukan is situated in Norway's rugged Telemark county

In 2006, a similar project was successfully set up in the village of Viganella in northern Italy which had suffered from exactly the same problem.

A delegation from visited Viganella to see how their mirror had transformed people's lives, and was suitably impressed.

After five years of debate, Rjukan town council finally agreed to invest the necessary 5 million Norwegian kroner (£544,000) to build the mirrors.

They are controlled by computer to follow the path of then sun, adjusting to the best angle to ensure the town square is bathed in light.

Solar panels will power equipment to automatically wash the mirrors and move them into position.

Designers hope the sunshine will revitalise the town during the winter months.

A message on the Rjukan tourist website states: 'The square will become a sunny meeting place in a town otherwise in shadow.'

According to project coordinator, Øystein Hagan, the construction work is almost complete but it won't be until September, when the sun disappears, that the system can be properly tested.

Eleven Hints for Life

1. It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return.
But what is more painful is to love someone and never
find the courage to let that person know how you feel.

2. A sad thing in life is when you meet someone who
means a lot to you, only to find out in the end that it was
never meant to be and you just have to let go.

3. The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a
porch swing with, never say a word, and then walk away
feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.

4. It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose
it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been
missing until it arrives.

5. It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an
hour to like someone, and a day to love someone-but it
takes a lifetime to forget someone.

6. Don't go for looks, they can deceive. Don't go for wealth,
even that fades away. Go for someone who makes you
smile because it takes only a smile to make a dark day
seem bright.

7. Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go,
be what you want to be. Because you have only one life and
one chance to do all the things you want to do.

8. Always put yourself in the other's shoes. If you feel that it
hurts you, it probably hurts the person too.

9. A careless word may kindle strife. A cruel word may wreck
a life. A timely word may level stress. But a loving word may
heal and bless.

10. The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best
of everything they just make the most of everything that comes
along their way.

11. Love begins with a smile, grows with a kiss, ends with
a tear. When you were born, you were crying and everyone
around you was smiling. Live your life so that when you die,
you're the one smiling and everyone around you is crying.

Psychology of Human Brain Analysis :Man vs. Woman......!!

1. MULTITASKING:
Women - Multiple process
Women's brains designed to concentrate multiple task at a time.
Women can Watch a TV and Talk over phone and cook.
Men - Single Process
Men's brains designed to concentrate only one work at a time. Men can not watch TV and talk over the phone at the same time. they stop the TV while Talking. They can either watch TV or talk over the phone or cook.

2. LANGUAGE:
Women can easily learn many languages. But can not find solutions to problems. Men can not easily learn languages, they can easily solve problems. That's why in average a 3 years old girl has three times higher vocabulary than a 3 year old boy.

3. ANALYTICAL SKILLS:
Men's brains has a lot of space for handling the analytical process. They can analyze and find the solution for a process and design a map of a building easily. But If a complex map is viewed by women, they can not understand it. Women can not understand the details of a map easily, For them it is just a dump of lines on a paper.

4. CAR DRIVING.
While driving a car, mans analytical spaces are used in his brain. He can drive a car fast as possible. If he sees an object at long distance, immediately his brain classifies the object (bus or van or car) direction and speed of the object and he drives accordingly. Where woman take a long time to recognize the object direction/ speed. Mans single process mind stops the audio in the car (if any), then concentrates only on driving.

5. LYING
When men lie to women face to face, they get caught easily. Woman's super natural brain observes facial expression 70%, body language 20% and words coming from the mouth 10%. Men's brain does not have this. Women easily lie to men face to face.
So guys, do not lie face to face.

6. PROBLEMS SOLVING
If a man have a lot of problems, his brain clearly classifies the problems and puts them in individual rooms in the brain and then finds the solution one by one. You can see many guys looking at the sky for a long time. If a woman has a lot of problems, her brain can not classify the problems. she wants some one to hear that. After telling everything to a person she goes happily to bed. She does not worry about the problems being solved or not.

7. WHAT THEY WANT
Men want status, success, solutions, big process, etc... But Women want relationship, friends, family, etc...

8. UNHAPPINESS
If women are unhappy with their relations, they can not concentrate on their work. If men are unhappy with their work, they can not concentrate on the relations.

9. SPEECH
Women use indirect language in speech. But Men use direct language.

10. HANDLING EMOTION
Women talk a lot without thinking. Men act a lot without thinking.

Jannat me sab kuch h

Jannat me sab kuch hai lekin maut nahi hai,
Gita me sab kuch hai
lekin jhuth nahi hai,
Dunia me sab kuch hai lekin sukun nahi hai,
Insaan me sab kuch hai lekin sabar nahi hai....
Dosto........
Kya baat kare is duniya ki...
Har shakhs ke apne afsaane hai...
Jo samne hai use log bura kehte hai...
Jisko dekha nahi kabhi use sab "KHUDA" kehte hai..!!!

How Tax Deductions System Works in India

The term “tax” is very common to us, but the “tax system” is indeed very complicated. There is different type of tax systems in different countries. Tax is generally a government’s income or a sum of money taken by a country’s government for its development. It’s not a donation but a fortified contribution to the authority. We are going to discuss about Indian tax system in this article and how does it effects on it.
Today we will mainly focus on how the different tax deductions process works in India. We will try to explain the whole method in simpler words so that even a novice can understand it with ease.
There are mainly two types of tax in India:  1) Direct tax and 2) Indirect tax.
Direct tax means which tax is collected by the government directly from taxpayers for different purposes, for an example we can say income tax in which taxpayers directly give the tax money to the government.
And the indirect tax is completely opposite of the direct tax in which the duty can be shifted to others, here the actual tax payer is not the actual tax bearer, such as sales tax in which seller include the tax money before selling the goods so the buyer of the goods actually pay the tax money.

List of direct tax in India:-
Income tax: the income tax act mainly passed in 1961 and it’s issued by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), we can imagine what income tax by its name, it is generally a tax on the income of people or Hindu undivided families or firms or co-operative societies and trusts. But there is different type of charges on income, given below—
Income-tax charge:-
Rs. 200,000/-   :- NIL%
Rs. 200,001–500,000/- :- 10%
Rs. 500,001–1,000,000/- :-20%
Above Rs 1,000,000 /- :- 30%
Most of the government’s income comes from income tax in India, it’s also plays a big role in economic growth. There is much cause that India is facing huge economic problems recently one of them is that the tendency of avoiding income tax. India was ranked 8th among the 150 countries in the world with black money. Also the income tax law is very complicated like any other laws in India, so there is many ways to avoid income tax.
There is also a provision in income tax act which is the companies and business organizations in India have to give tax on their worldwide transactions which is called corporation tax.
There is another provision under income tax act which is known as gift tax. According to it, the gifts received by any individual or Hindu Undivided Family in above of Rs. 50,000 in a year would be taxable.
Property tax: property tax also known as house tax. It’s the most important source of income of local governments, development of the urban areas mostly dependent on property tax. This tax is mainly on assets of individual people like land & building, machinery etc. Indian property tax system actually the blend of US-type wealth tax and differs from the excise-type UK rate.
There are 7935 urban areas in India and three of the 10 largest metropolises situated in India Mumbai, Delhi and Kolkata also India’s urban population growth has been decreasing since 3 decades. But this decreasing level is not expected to continue in the years ahead, this means India is entering into the major structural transformation in favor of labor-intensive industry and services sectors in the years ahead. The urban sector contributed about two-thirds of GDP in 2009-10. So it seems that property tax deals with an important part of Indian economy.
The tax base is the annual rental value (ARV) or area-based rating, it’s usually 6%.
There is another tax in India known as Inheritance (Estate) Tax. The only difference between property tax and estate tax is that it’s on the estate, or total value of property, of a person who has died.
List of indirect tax in India:-
Custom duty: The custom act was composed in 1962. The main purpose of the act is to prevent illegal import and export of goods because import and export is the backbone of any economic system.
Custom duty surely is an indirect tax which is levied on import and export of the goods of international trades. It is also known as consumption tax in economic sense.
There are several purposes behind the act of custom, such as ----
1. Restricting Imports for maintaining foreign exchange.
2. Protecting Indian Industry from needless competition.
3. Prohibiting imports and exports of goods for accomplishing the policy aspiration of the Government.
4. Circulating export.
Central Excise Duty: central excise duty is one of the most important indirect tax in India. The Indian government passed the Central Excise Act in 1944 and the Central Excise Tariff Act in 1985.
It’s chiefly charged on such excisable goods that are manufactured in India and are meant for domestic consumption. An excise is considered an indirect tax because the producer or seller who pays the tax to the government is expected to try to recover or shift the tax by raising the price paid by the buyer.
The term “excisable goods” means that domestically manufactured petroleum fuel and products, tobacco and tobacco products, and alcohol and alcohol commodities on which excise is payable. Duty is not payable on the goods exported out of India.
Service Tax and Sales Tax: The service providers in India exclude those in the state of Jammu and Kashmir are mandate to pay a Service Tax under the provisions of the Finance Act of 1994. The provisions associated to Service Tax came into action on 1st July.
Sales Tax in India is a form of tax that is enforced by the Government on the sale or purchase of a particular commodity within the country. Sales Tax is enforced under both, Central Government (Central Sales Tax) and State Government (Sales Tax) Legislation. From 10th April, 2005, most of the States in India have supplemented sales tax with a new Value Added Tax (VAT). VAT is available in 31 States including Union Territories.
This is the detailed article on the tax deductions system of the Indian government. It is indeed very much interesting to know about the list of Indian government’s direct and indirect taxes. We hope you would love to read and share this article with your friends on social media.

The journey from BBA (B.P.college of business administration) to become entrepreneur

Picture “Two roads divert in a wood,

And I took the one, less come travelled”

Some plan for manger some for charter accountant but I always plan to hire them. I plan for something in which I can prove myself where I’m owner of myself.

So, I’m here as entrepreneur. This basic idea developed in me in my bachelor. BPCBA the place where my faculty groomed me, expose me to practical world and built up my confidence. The next was EDI where I did my PGDM-BE learn various aspects of business and I started from there only.

It started from there and today I can count on many projects recently launch is createmytrip.co.in. Createmytrip.co.in is online portal where people can book air ticket, hotel booking, bus ticket booking and lots more. The next is Aao Padhe that is in progress. We are making the Aao padhe as education search engine in India. And the most awaited is Agrawal Foods. Agrawal foods going to start in July-2013, AF will provide the new snacks product with considering the current health conscious people. We are launching this product in Gujarat and also in Torrento, Canada.  And there are many under consideration.

After handling this entire project I can conclude one thing that the designating oneself as entrepreneur is easier then proving oneself as entrepreneur.

Journey of EDI

Entrepreneur… Its not a profession but a skill. And skills cannot be taught but it can b groomed and sharpen, and EDI did same to me. Two year in EDI, it’s not just two year of post-graduation rather its two years of practical exposure.  It gives me best platform to learn the real mean of entrepreneurship. The best thing that we learnt there was to turn negative into positive, discover opportunities and to grab them. 2 year in EDI is just like living in the lap of nature, with people who have business in their body as blood and ideas in place of heart. The interaction with numerous faculty and consultants helped me broaden my vision, remain focused and manage my time better. The Faculties at EDI have great potential in making a student to understand easily the concepts of business management. The best part about EDI was that, there was always a helping hand available. The faculty as well as administrative staff were cooperative and had a very helpful attitude .Rather I can say that this is the best place to acquiring ‘knowledge’.

Being in a state like Gujarat gave me opportunity to get exposed to the business world and taught me how to run businesses efficiently and effectively. I started two companies “AGARWAL FOODS” (with a new product called “Crips” ) and “GALAXY COMFORT” ( Imported wallpaper suppiler).Have great experience working on these products  .I already cover half of Gujarat and hope in near future I would cover half of country.

WAQT NAHI

A very beautiful poem on today's fast life.
" WAQT NAHI "

Har khushi Hai Logon Ke Daman Mein, Par Ek Hansi Ke Liye Waqt Nahi.

Din Raat Daudti Duniya Mein, Zindagi Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.

Maa Ki Loree Ka Ehsaas To Hai, Par Maa Ko Maa Kehne Ka Waqt Nahi.

Saare Rishton Ko To Hum Maar Chuke, Ab Unhe Dafnane Ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.

Saare Naam Mobile Mein Hain, Par Dosti Ke Lye Waqt Nahi.

Gairon Ki Kya Baat Karen, Jab Apno Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.

Aankhon Me Hai Neend Badee, Par Sone Ka Waqt Nahi.

Dil Hai Ghamo Se Bhara Hua, Par Rone Ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.

Paison ki Daud Me Aise Daude, Ki Thakne ka Bhi Waqt Nahi.

Paraye Ehsason Ki Kya Kadr Karein, Jab Apane Sapno Ke Liye Hi Waqt Nahi.

Tu Hi Bata E Zindagi, Iss Zindagi Ka Kya Hoga, Ki Har Pal Marne Walon Ko, Jeene Ke Liye Bhi Waqt Nahi.....:

Love of Life

Tere pyar ne jitni khusi di,
Utne gam ke aasu de gai teri intjar ki ghadiya,
Abhi to ham aap ke pyar ki kasti o me beth ne hi ja rhe the ki samnder ki ek lhar or hame kinare akla chod kar chod gai.....

Phir bhi bethe the ham aap ke aap intejar me.....
ek lamha aisa aaya jab intejar ne bhi hame pucha " kab tak yu betha rhe ga us hasina ke intejar me????????"

ham ne bhi kha us wakt se jab tak ye lhre khamos h tab tak ham bhi u madhos h.....
lhre bhi paresan ho kar kh gai ki ghar lot ja parinde teri pari to ab kisi or ki ho gai........... pari to kisi or ki ho gai...........

Gift of Valentine day

Personalised photo gifts that you can customise with your very own images and text are not as commonly given as presents as you might think. But nowadays almost all of us have a camera that we can use at any opportune moment, and much of these picture-taking devices are actually incorporated within the mechanics of a phone or a similar gadget. In short, we all have the opportunity to take some truly breath taking shots wherever we are in the world, and with whomever we happen to be. And yet too often we let those awe-inspiring photos waste away on our computer hard drives or camera disks. Why not unearth some of your most precious old photos and have them custom printed onto personalised Valentine’s gifts that will really make your other half swoon?

One creative and highly romantic idea for a personalised Valentine’s gift is the custom photo book. Narrate a story with words and text and show the development of your relationship up to the point you’re at right now. Use photos from the earliest stages of your love (perhaps from your first date or even before you realised how you felt for each other) and have them printed in immensely high quality onto custom designed material that we create for you. When you can custom design and custom mould a personalised Valentine’s gifts idea for someone who means the world to you, it gains a matchless sentimental value that cannot be replicated in any other format. A photo book is a tangible reminder of the affection you share, and your other half will be left speechless by your care and consideration when gift-buying. All lovers know that Valentine’s Day holds great importance for their boyfriend, girlfriend, husband, wife, or partner. Although we often try to belittle its significance, when it comes down to it this amazing day is the chance to express – in the most romantic way possible – the feelings and sentiments you hold most dear. A personalised photo book, custom designed by you with the most magical photos you can find of you and your other half on days out to the seaside, at the theatre seeing your favourite actor perform a classic Shakespearean tragi-comedy, or perhaps just laying about at home during the warm summer months, makes for a lovely gift idea. Use the power of your photos to give him or her something he or she will genuinely value, cherish, and treasure for many years to come.

What Rich people do???

1. Rich People Think “I Create my Life”

You’re in control of your life: things don’t happen by chance, they happen by choice. Taking full responsibility for your life is step one towards creating the life you dream of.

And when things don’t work out? Don’t blame or  criticise others, and don’t justify yourself. Just learn from it, keep on pushin’ ahead, and do better next time.

2. Rich People Play the Money Game to Win

If your aim is to “be comfortable financially”, you’re unlikely to ever be rich.

You have to aim to be rich to become rich.

3. Rich People Are Committed to Being Rich

If you wish to be rich, or you’d like to be rich… That’s not enough. You have to *commit* to being rich.

The moment it’s absolutely clear in your mind that you’ll create exceptional wealth, the universe will conspire to help you.

4. Rich People Think Big

How do you want to live your life? Do you want to play in the little leagues, in the minors or in the major leagues? It’s your choice.

I wholeheartedly believe that we can accomplish anything we can envision. But if you think small… You’ll accomplish small.

Think big my friend. It’s more fun, and it opens you up to a world of infinite possibilities.

If you want to get better at this, I encourage you to read The Magic of Thinking Big

5. Rich People Focus on Opportunities

Most things that happen to us can be seen as either opportunity or as an obstacle. It depends on what we focus on.

Rich people choose to see everything as a blessing, as a stepping stone for something greater.

What’s your outlook on things? Do you focus on finding opportunities or do you only see the risks & obstacles?

6. Rich People Admire Other Rich & Successful People

When you see a rich person, do you get jealous? Is there a point of resentment when you say “Check out that guy’s house/car?”

If you associate these negative feelings to wealth, you’re not likely to amass it yourself.

You have to associate positive feelings to wealth if you want to create it in your life.

These people were the architect of their wealth, and that’s worthy of our respect. Plus… when’s the last time jealousy got you anywhere?

7. Rich People Associate with Positive, Successful People

Modelling is one of the primary ways we learn. If you associate with positive & successful people, not only can you learn from them, but you’ll also start to think… “if they can do it, why can’t I?”

8. Rich People Are Willing to Promote Themselves & Their Value

Many of us have been conditioned to think that promoting ourselves is boastful and to be avoided.

But the reality is that most rich people are excellent promoters. They know how to promote themselves, their ideas and their products with enthusiasm.

Note: In 2008, Tim Ferriss was named by Wired.com as The Greatest Self-Promoter of All-Time

9. Rich People Are Bigger Than Their Problems

Everyone has problems. Things won’t always your way, no matter who you are. But it’s how you react to your problems that defines you.

When you face a problem, do you run away and give up? Or do you put your head down and find a solution?

The answer to these questions will go a long way towards determining the kind of life you’ll live.

10. Rich People Are Excellent Receivers

To earn large sums of money for your work & products, you must feel worthy of receiving large sums of money.

Here’s a great practice for improving your receiving skills: when someone offers you compliment, simply say accept and thanks. Don’t look for something to compliment the other person with.

11. Rich People Choose to Get Paid Based on Results

If you want to become rich, choose to work in a pay-for-performance environment: either in your own business or in a commission-based or bonus-based job.

If you’re confident in your ability, this arrangement will motivate you more and it will earn you a lot more money.

12. Rich People Think “Both” not “Either/Or”

Rich people understand that with creativity, it’s almost always possible to have the best both worlds.

This requires a particular mindset of cooperation and outside-the-box thinking, but it allows you to have our cake and eat it too.

Next time you’re faced with a tough choice… Be creative and try to find a way to have both.

13. Rich People Focus on Their Net Worth

Generally, when we think of wealth we think in terms of how much a person makes a in year . But wealth is much more than that. It’s one’s income, savings, investments, and cost of living.

It’s by optimizing these 4 elements that you can create extraordinary wealth.

14. Rich People Manage Their Money Well

This is fairly self-explanatory: to become rich you need to be serious about money management. Using your spare money optimally, avoiding credit card interest and only spending on useful things is a great place to start.

15. Rich People Have Their Money Work Hard For Them

Once you’ve got money saved up, INVEST it. There’s no reason to leave money sitting in your bank account. Passive income is an incredibly powerful wealth-creating vehicle and the sooner you get started, the better.

16. Rich People Act in Spite of Fear

This is certainly one of the most important items and a recurring theme on this blog. If you want to create your greatest life, you’ve GOT to tame the beast of fear.

Fear will never completely go away, but it’s the ability to “feel the fear & do it anyways” that separates those who create their dream life and those who simply  dream about it.

17. Rich People Constantly Learn & Grow

Knowledge + Action = Power. The more you know & apply in your chosen field, the more money you’ll earn.

That’s why I’ve embarked on an epic reading challenge this year, and why you should use all the tools at your disposal to learn something every day: blogs, books, Audioleaning, course and insightful conversation with people who know more than you.

But learning is not enough- make sure you apply these findings, experiment with them, and tweak as you go. That’s where the real power lies.
